Defence Housing Authority Islamabad, famously known as DHA Islamabad is a public benefit corporation spread across a large area of Zone-5 in Islamabad. DHA Islamabad comprises six phases namely DHA Phase 1, DHA Phase 2, DHA Phase 2 Extension, DHA Phase 3, DHA Phase 4, DHA Phase 5 and DHA Valley. Previously sectors A to J of DHA Phase 2 were covering an area between GT Road while the remaining sectors K, L, M, N, and P were in the North of Islamabad Expressway. While sectors A to J remains as Phase 2, the remaining sectors are named as DHA Phase 5. On the North, Phase 5 neighbors with Naval Anchorage. The South of DHA Phase 5 has Canyon Views, Chak 30 AC and Chak 30 AD, while the West of DHA Phase 5 neighbors with DHA Phase 2, Zaraj Housing Society and River Gardens Housing Scheme. The East of Phase 5, however, has Rawat Industrial Estate and areas including Dhoke Kaak.
DHA Phase 5 of Islamabad is currently in its soft launch phase with a flat land heading towards development. Famous for its lifestyle and delivery, DHA has been a great place for investment and living. Located on the Islamabad Expressway across DHA Phase 2, this phase attracts greater investment and growth opportunities. DHA Phase 5 has a total of seven sectors namely Sector A, B, C, D, F, G and H. Sector A, B, C and D have been given possession of but the development work had not started as yet. Sector F and G and H have the development work going on but no possession has been given as yet.
In regards to the provision of amenities, three sites have been proposed for mosques, two for parks namely Woods Walk Park and the Blue Bird Park. It is expected to be a healthy outdoor recreational park developed in the residential localities for walks, physical exercises and activities for the youth. Other than these, sites for several shopping areas including Chaudhary Mart DHA Phase 5, commercial and community centers have been proposed.

On the other hand Jungle World- Ayub National Park, Bahria Town Zoo, Taxila Museum, and Rawat Fort and lie at a drive of 15 to 30 minutes.
